Our communities

The South Post community offers a wide range of home styles and neighborhoods. Conveniently located close to the main gate of Fort Wainwright, this eclectic community is also the first to boast new construction and renovation. Nearby amenities include the Arctic Light Elementary School, Bassett Army Community Hospital, the Child Development Center, as well as the shoppette and gas station on Neely Road.

The North Post Community includes neighborhoods from all over the installation, including Fort Wainwright's newest neighborhood, Denali Village. The majority of the homes in this community are relatively new, having been built within the last 10 years. Catering to all ranks, from Junior Enlisted to Senior Officers, the Community Center is located within the North Town neighborhood.
